The best way is that taking some pictures and emailing to us with detail information regarding to your probelm.

Black problem!!!

Q: "we just got a the 440ml black ultra ink cartridge. this black is far from being black. it has an almost navy cast to it and is far from the oem black. this is unacceptable. please advise"

A: "just open your file in photoshop or coreldraw and convert RGB mode to CMYK mode. And then save your file as CMYK mode again. You must open this file again and double check it's CMYK mode not RGB mode. And then import it into Flexisign pro. This image should be CMYK black not 100% black. And the black will be correct color otherwise the black will be more blue if you use RGB mode images before import it to RIP software. Do it as my instruction. I am pretty sure black will be CMYK Black if you follow my instruction."

Q:"have you good method to unblock printheads, i.ve tried to flush with new thinners and it works for a few seconds then blocks" It's cleaning blocked injectors.

A:This is really a difficult question to explain by email.
Normally if a DX4 printhead that you had clean start to print but after a little time fails again means that the printhead is electrically finished and need replacement, this is normal after 18-24 months of use with eco inks and 12-16 moths with mildsolvent inks.

Also is possible that the problem really is the damper that is blocked and makes that the printhead don't print.

When we want to clean a printhead what we make is with a syringe connected to a empty damper wit a tube we fill with flush liquid and we connect in the printhead in place of the colour damper. (we make this in the left part of the machine if you see from the front side that the prints go out).
We put also a glass under the printhead or another recipient to collect the flush and push the syringe to make that the flush goes through the printhead, until we see all the injector jetting right. For this a light under the injectors area helps a lot.
Be careful not to push very strong the syringe or make this without a damper in the middle or you can damage the internal filter of the printhead.
Also protect all the connector area of the printhead and the other printheads (we use transparent food film for this) because if the damper breaks you can have the printheads damaged with the flush.

Q:error come out after not detecting E074 ERR CR2 current

i have a problem after one month use of reffilable lava ink i already change the card chip still appears not original KCMY i change it with the original now the M slot still not original and error come out after not detecting E074 ERR CR2 current

A:"Is not that the 1.13 kill the chips, only that can not read the chips (originals and ours) as you can see in the attached Mutoh document.
If the customer has it and read right the chips it can keep it.

the error you have is not related to the inks or the bulk system.
As you can see in the attached page send by the Mutoh tech department is related to the CR Motor (the one that moves the carriage horizontal in the Y Axis.
This normally is produced by carriage crashing with media in the middle of a print because the media curls.

This is not a fault related to the ink or the cards, is a mechanical fail produced by normal use and will need assistance from a Mutoh technician."

Roland Chip Problem!!!

Hello Jian,

i have a problem i been using your ink for two months , but only yellow red and blue because i stiil had some original black and they were working great but yesterday when i put the black in the color look very faded i did powerfull clealing and they still look the same, and also the printer clean it self every 8 inches that it prints something. i thought it was the ink but its not because i put the old original black cartrige in and printed a small picture and it printed ok and it did no clean itself, do you think the cartrige you send me could be defective, because thats the only one i am having trouble, and like i said every time i put in the cartrige the printer starts to clean itself like every 3 minutes. what do you think

It looks like system has some problem. It looks circuit problem in system.

Try put another one time chip or permanent chip into the cartridge.

It's circuit problem if the same probelm happen again after you change different chip.

ok i tried the other chips and it stiil does not work, and when i put an original cartrige it does work , i think the refillable cartrige is defective. what do you think

Put the chip directly to the chip room. not put the back of the cartridge.

Thank you for this information :

Unfortunately, we have now a big problem.

Following the TIB attached, we installed the firmware V111  normally, but, we continued to install the sub controller. This operation did not finish properly, we have had an error message during “boot code sender” and now the printer is out of order.

When we switch it on, the initialization the display show the message “ EO 78 Err. Commu” and the Data lamp on the panel is orange.

We are in French Polynesia without Mutoh service locally. We must solve this problem alone.

Could you please help us in this matter ?

It seems that you need to switch a connector in the mainboard prior to make the firmware update in this model of machine.
