Lavaink Replacement Mutoh Valuejet 1604 PF Disc Encoder is not Mutoh OEM encoder sensor but it is 100% compatible with Mutoh OEM PF Disc Encoder.

Please follow our instruction to install this Mutoh PF disc encoder sensor.

  1. Green Cable is DC+ 5V power cable.
  2. Black cable is Ground cable.
  3. Red cable is signal A (Left)
  4. Blue cable is signal B (Right). If you connect wrong A and B, just switch them.
  5. You need to connect your OEM long cable and fitting end to our encoder to match your cable.

Also you can use alcohol to clean encoder strip at one way, but if there is phsyic damage at encoder strip and it will be gabage and useless. How to clean Printer Encoder Strip? You will need Isopropyl Alcohol, Cleaning Swabs and Paper Towels. Putting two drops of alcohol onto each side of the cleaning swab. Dab the swab on the paper towel to soak up any excess liquid.
