How to detect if Omron Sensor EE-SX472 works or not?
All Model Suffix A and R like EE-SX672A and EE-SX672R is NO INDICATOR LIGHT. How to check if the Omron photo sensor is working
All Model WITHOUT Suffix or Suffix P like EE-SX672 and EE-SX672P is INDICATOR LIGHT. How to check if the Omron photo sensor is working
Just turn on your printer and connect your Omron Sensor EE-SX472 Ground Cable and Power cable to the power supply.
- If Incident light work correctly and that prove your encoder sensor works and power cables were connected successfully.
- If Incident light does not work correctly, the check the power supplies from your machine. It should be from 5DC to 24 DC. Check any power supplies if they output work correctly. Then replace your damaged power supply. Power supply AMP bigger one is OK. Like you replace the current power supply 5DC 8 AMP with 5DC 10 AMP is OK. If power supplies are good and then replace Omron photo sensor.
Advantage of Omron Sensor EE-SX472
This Optical Sensors Omron Sensor EE-SX472 provides a compact, low-cost method to detect workpieces. We do not only supply Omron Sensor but also many others models, including Slot-type Sensors (through-beam) for non-modulated or modulated light, Reflective Sensors, and Sensors with separate emitters and receivers. The emitter and receiver are set in a U shape to enable easy handling.
Through-beam Sensors have separate emitters and receivers to enable setting them at the required distance.
Omron Sensor EE-SX472 also has the following advantages: With Slot-type Sensors, the emitter and receiver are set in a U shape to enable easy handling. With Reflective Sensors, light is shown on the workpiece and reflected light is detected. Convergent Reflective Sensors detect workpieces that are only a specific distance from the Sensor. They can be effectively used when there are background objects. With Reflective Sensors, light is shown on the workpiece and reflected light is detected. With Retro-reflective Sensors, a Reflector is set and the Sensor detects whether light is reflected back from the Reflector. They are effective for precise, stable detection.
