  4. Number of turns: The total number of springs.

The physical parameters 1

  1. D (springs wire diameter): This parameter describes the diameter of the springs wire.
  2. S (maximum diameter of the mandrel): This parameter describes the maximum diameter of the springs axis in industrial applications with a tolerance of ± 2%.
  3. Di: The inner diameter of the springs is equal to the outside diameter of the springs minus twice the wire diameter. The tolerance is ± 2%.
  4. De: The outside diameter of the spring is equal to the inside diameter of the spring plus twice the diameter, with a tolerance of ± 2%.
  5. H (minimum aperture): This is the diameter of the minimum space required for normal operation of the springs, with a tolerance of ± 2%.
  6. P (pitch): the axial distance of the centerline of the two adjacent effective ring sections of the coil spring, with a tolerance of ± 2%.

  7. Lc (compression and length): the compression spring to the coil contact the theoretical height. Please refer to the photo on the right with a tolerance of ± 15% in addition you want to know it in diagram.
  8. Ln (permissible length): The allowable length of the spring at maximum load. If the torsion is too large, the spring is easily deformed (by external force generated irreversible deformation). But for most springs, there is no possibility of deformation. In this case Ln = Lc + Sa. For example, Sa is the sum of the minimum allowable distances between the effective number of turns.
  9. L0 (natural length): the spring in the pressure and once, the natural state of the length, tolerance ± 2%.
  10. Number of turns: The total number of springs (the number of springs in the photo above is 6). Therefore, the total number of turns of the springs minus the number of turns at both ends is the effective number of turns of the springs.

  11. R Spring Stiffness: This parameter represents the change in load per unit deformation of the spring. So unit of calculation: 1 DaN / mm = 10 N / mm (Newton / mm) with a tolerance of ± 15%.
  12. F1 and length L1 can be calculated by the formula: F1 = (L0-L1) * R, and then calculate the length of L1: L1 = L0 – F1 / R (the length of the springs under the load F1).
  13. Smooth: it is polished springs steel wire end.
  14. Springs part number: Each springs has a unique number such as Category. (De * 10). (D * 100). (L0 * 10). For compression springs, the relevant symbol is C. The material is indicated by the letters: A, I, N, and S. For example: C.063.090.0100. A part that the compression spring diameter 6.3mm, piano wire diameter 0.9mm.

Material

  1. A (steel wire): This parameter describes steel wire according to EN 10270-1 SH grade.
  2. I (stainless steel): This parameter describes 18/8 stainless steel, for example: marked Z10 CN 18.09.
  3. N (galvanized wire): This parameter describes galvanized steel wire for the production of springs.

Characteristic

  1. Spring ends: The ends of the various compression springs.
  2. Spring Stiffness: The tolerance for spring stiffness is ± 15%.
